Job Summary
Welcome patients and assist with appointments, then work alongside Registered Nurses to care for injuries and illnesses. Conduct patient histories, support clinical assessments, administer medications, and provide wound care and plastering. Offer patient education while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and completing Medicare billing requirements. Ensure care adheres to scope of practice and ForHealth policies, and support workplace health and safety by reporting incidents. Requires current AHPRA registration, flexible evening and weekend availability, and 2–3 years of relevant nursing experience. Includes mandatory Working with Children and National Police checks.
Required Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- 3 years' Primary Care/General Practice nursing experience OR 2 years' Emergency Department or similar experience OR 3 years' Medical/Surgical, Orthopaedic or similar acute care experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage escalations
- A passion for patient-centred care
- Successful candidates will be required to provide a Working with Children Check and National Police Check, with an International Police Check where applicable
