Job Summary
Provide same-day urgent veterinary care for acute illnesses, injuries, and pressing medical concerns, diagnosing and treating a variety of medical and surgical cases. Help establish workflows, protocols, and scheduling for expanding urgent care services while building strong relationships with clients and the local community. Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to contribute to the continued development of the urgent care program. This role supports the growth of an expanding urgent care service within a supportive team environment.
Required Qualifications
- DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary program
- Active or eligible veterinary license
- Prior clinical experience
- Comfortable independently managing urgent cases
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach to patient and client care
- Interest in helping develop and grow an urgent care service
- Open to part-time or full-time scheduling
