Job Summary
Provide orthopedic urgent care services during day shifts at an on-site clinic in Lynchburg, Virginia, with a caseload averaging 30-35 patients daily. Manage acute presentations across all age groups, including outpatient orthopedic visits and x-ray interpretation, while utilizing Epic EMR for documentation. Work weekday hours of 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and weekend hours of 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on a 7 days on/7 days off schedule. Maintain an active Virginia license, DEA registration, and board certification with prescriptive authority. No call responsibilities are associated with this assignment. The facility is supported by medical assistants, a midlevel clinician, and on-site surgeons and pain physicians available for clinical guidance.
