Job Summary
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat urgent and episodic medical conditions, including performing procedures like laceration repair and splinting. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, laboratory studies, and imaging while prescribing appropriate medications and treatments. Educate patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up care, then maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to deliver high-quality care. This role supports the broader Integrity Urgent Care network across Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas, offering flexible scheduling with 12-hour shifts every two weeks and competitive hourly compensation based on productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Active Texas license or the ability to obtain one
- DEA registration or the ability to obtain one
- Current BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioner certification preferred for NP candidates
- DOT medical examiner certification preferred; candidates willing to obtain certification will also be considered
- Urgent care, emergency medicine, or family medicine experience preferred, but motivated candidates with applicable clinical experience will also be considered
