Job Summary
Operate a scanner to track product locations and frequently drive forklifts and order pickers to fulfill warehouse orders for large furniture shipped across North America. Safely navigate the warehouse environment while following work instructions, tracking tasks, and collaborating as part of a team. Maintain acceptable attendance and work overtime as required to meet productivity and quality standards. This role covers a Monday through Friday shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm at the Reno facility.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to work overtime as required
- Able to stand and walk for considerable distance throughout a shift
- Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods
- Reach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights to 50 pounds
- Operate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position (i.e., forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker) which requires coordinated movements
- Able to operate department-specific technology to execute job tasks i.e. RF scanners or desktop computers and touchscreens
Desired Qualifications
- High school degree or GED a plus
- Warehousing or manufacturing experience a plus
- Forklift or heavy machinery experience a plus
- Motivated team player with a positive attitude
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Able to function well in a multi-task environment with attention to detail
- Willing to accept new and diverse assignments
- Candidate must be able to work with all organizational levels, including fellow employees, customers, and management
