Job Summary
Perform basic mechanical and electrical repairs under supervision while assisting with maintenance of conveyors, packaging equipment, and facility systems. Support troubleshooting of jams, sensor issues, and simple equipment faults by replacing basic components like sensors, belts, and bearings. Execute preventive maintenance tasks, inspect systems, and follow SOPs and safety procedures during all activities. Document work orders and maintain cleanliness of work areas while supporting senior technicians on complex repairs. Read basic schematics and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards. This entry-level role focuses on learning core skills in a fast-paced team environment at our Reno location.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 0–2 years of maintenance or related technical experience
- Must be able to work overtime as required
- Must be able to stand and walk throughout a shift
- Must be able to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods
- Must be able to reach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to operate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position (i.e. pallet jack, box cutter, carts) which requires coordinated movements
