Job Summary
Urban Planner at Arcadis India responsible for contributing to master plans, TOD frameworks, and placemaking across scales. Responsibilities include preparing design concepts, master plans, land-use plans, and development guidelines; conducting spatial analysis and policy review; translating client needs into planning and urban design frameworks; leading workshops and stakeholder consultations; supporting detailed design documentation and 3D massing studies; contributing to competitions and bids. Requires a Master’s degree in Urban Planning with 0–2 years of experience and proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, SketchUp; GIS experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Urban Planning or related field
- 0–2 years of experience in urban planning or related role
- Knowledge of planning principles, land-use planning, TOD, urban regeneration, and public realm development
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, SketchUp); GIS experience is a plus
- Strong written and reporting skills
- Ability to visualize planning and design ideas clearly
- Experience in multi-disciplinary teams and public realm projects desirable
