Job Summary
Conduct daily buying operations within designated areas by managing Open to Buy and executing reorders based on real-time sales trends. Develop partnerships with the Senior Buyer and Assistant Buyer to create timely product assortments that meet financial objectives. Monitor social conversations, street style, and niche influencers to identify viral accessories and maximize their sales potential. Direct team activities and vocalize opinions proactively in cross-functional meetings to drive business through planning and production.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years in a fast-paced retail buying role
- Experience presenting to company leadership
- Demonstrated experience in a highly entrepreneurial environment
- Full command of retail math
- The ability to pivot strategy based on weekly, monthly, seasonal performance
- A deep understanding of the UO customer
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Design, Planning, and Production
