Job Summary
Coordinator for Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math & Science delivering college preparatory services to high school students in Butte; responsibilities include tutoring students, assisting with college and scholarship applications, coordinating educational experiences, goal setting, compliance with federal reporting, and planning a 6-week summer academy. Leads tutoring programs, participant recruitment and selection, school communications, curriculum development, financial literacy services, staff supervision, professional development, and collaboration with families and schools; requires travel, strong communication, and experience with youth programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Previous experience with 9th-12th grade students
- Previous experience as a project leader responsible for student-oriented projects
- Willing to travel frequently
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High comfort level with teenage students and advising the adolescent development process
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and the ability to work with various medias
