Upsell Sales Representative - Future Candidate

Job Summary
Generate sales in existing customer accounts by identifying needs and upselling appropriate products and services. Meet and exceed sales quotas through outbound calls, offering value-added auxiliary services like Fall Detection and protection plans to medical alert device subscribers. Respond to telephone inquiries, provide accurate product recommendations, and obtain customer information to maintain CRM accounts. Maintain product knowledge, stay current with marketing promotions, and review competition spreadsheets. Transfer non-sales calls to the appropriate department. Requires 3 years of inbound and outbound sales experience in a high-volume environment, at least 6 months to 1 year US healthcare background, and post-secondary education. 0–10% travel required.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of inbound and outbound sales experience in a high-volume environment
- At least 6 Months to 1 year US Healthcare Background
- Must be results-driven, highly motivated, and have the ability to present product information with confidence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate patiently, courteously, and professionally with our customers
- Demonstrated record of success exceeding sales targets
- Technical Skills – Microsoft Office, CRM data entry, and computer proficiency with sales platforms
- Ability to plan, organize and establish priorities to meet goals and achieve results
- Ability to work in a fast-paced customer sensitive environment
- Driven, self-motivated and competitive
- Result-oriented with a 'go-getter' personality
- Excellent rapport building telephone communication and negotiating skills
- Team player and able to work autonomously
- Exceptional follow-through skills
- Post-secondary education and/or equivalent related work experience
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
- Travel Required: 0 – 10%
