Job Summary
Execute the assigned sales plan by generating profitable revenue growth through new business development and existing account retention. Analyze customer supply chain needs to create solutions, respond to requests, and meet with clients daily to discuss complaints and obtain documentation. Collaborate with operations to implement special shipping needs and introduce new products based on pre-call analysis of account history and complaints. Respond to internal sales leads to identify opportunities, analyze price quotes for accuracy, and generate reports on shipping and billing history to renegotiate contracts. Train customers on proper packaging techniques and build relationships throughout customer organizations to recommend account strategies and resolve basic issues.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
- Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) or be a current UPS employee with three years of UPS experience
- Must have reliable transportation
- This role is customer facing and requires you to meet with customers each work day

- Demonstrates a detailed understanding of supply chain concepts
- Experience with supply chain concepts
