Job Summary
Teach two sections of AP Physics, one section of Engineering and Design and one section of Design Thinking; attend all specified school events and open houses; proctor exams including AP and 504s; serve as advisor/homeroom teacher; participate in Project Week; supervise students before/during/after school and at lunch; sponsor at least one club or student-led organization; hold regular office hours and participate in professional development; maintain LMS and collaborate with faculty across departments; contribute to curriculum development and assessment, while fostering a supportive student-teacher-family relationship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher (implied as standard for independent school faculty)
- Experience designing and teaching a range of curricula including advanced level courses
- Ability to teach AP Physics and Engineering/Design related courses
- Experience advising students and leading or coordinating student activities
- Willingness to participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and campus events
- Strong collaboration with grade-level teams and teaching partners
- Ability to differentiate instruction for a diverse student body
