Job Summary
Upper School Math Teacher for 8-Week Paternity Leave Coverage responsible for delivering mathematics instruction aligned with the school’s sequence (Math 1–Calculus) and pathways (Essentials or Enriched/Honors CAS). Requires a minimum of a B.A. in mathematics or related field, at least 5 years of high school math teaching experience, and demonstrated use of technology to enhance lessons. Must be collaborative, student-centered, and capable of adapting pacing to diverse learners within a team environment. Location: Santa Monica, CA (21st Street Campus).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum B.A. in mathematics, mathematics education or a related field (graduate degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years high school mathematics teaching experience
- Practice with incorporating technology into lessons
- Supportive of individual students and their learning, enthusiastic about the subject and committed to a collaborative and team approach
