Job Summary
As an Upper School Head Coach at Columbus School for Girls, you will be responsible for supervising athletes during practices and games, maintaining proper communication with the Athletic Department, and ensuring all athletes are accounted for. You will report game results, maintain season statistics, and establish team rules. Professionalism and adherence to school policies, including communication protocols, facility use, and safety measures are essential. Required qualifications include current coaching certifications and background checks, with a focus on supporting student-athletes in an all-girls educational environment.
Required Qualifications
- Complete and remain current in all required coaching certifications
- ODE: Pupil Activity Permit (3 years)
- Coaches’ Tool Chest (Annual)
- BCI/FBI Background Check (5 years)
- Attend all required OHSAA rules meetings and coaches meeting

- Understanding of the value of an all-girls education
- Eagerness to learn about supporting young women to reach their potential
Additional Requirements
- Coaches are not to engage in discussion surrounding their program or CSG Athletics with non-CSG students
