Job Summary

Craft signature cocktails, cold brews, and spirit flights while conducting guided tastings to educate guests on Ko-Kwel Spirits heritage. Promote Cask Club memberships and upsell products by demonstrating deep menu knowledge and offering pairings. Maintain bar safety, cleanliness, and responsible alcohol service standards, reporting concerns to the Safety Committee. Open and close the bar, manage cash and credit card transactions, and support team needs during high-volume periods. Work weekends, holidays, and evenings while standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Required Qualifications

  • Friendly and approachable attitude that helps guests (and the team) feel welcome and cared for every day.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Must have valid OLCC permit and working knowledge of OLCC regulations.
  • Must have a food handler's card and meet health, safety and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate the point-of-sale system and accurately manage a cash bank, credit card activity, and balance with corresponding paperwork at the end of your shift.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform your duties with a minimum of supervision and handle multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Comfortable communicating clearly and positively with both guests and teammates.
  • Must pass and remain in compliance with Coquille Gaming Commission background check and drug free workplace policies.
  • You'll need to be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings when we are busy.
  • During your shift, you'll be on your feet standing for extended periods, and frequently walk, and use your hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and be able to understand how to use equipment to safely maneuver a full keg of beer, carry cases of bottled beer with a hand truck, bend, twist, reach and otherwise be physically limber as duties necessitate.
  • Occasionally sit.
  • It's important to stay calm and make good decisions under pressure, especially when dealing with stressful situations or upset people.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience helpful but not required. Previous experience in hospitality field with demonstrated excellent customer service ability.
  • Must be able to effectively lead and coach others.
