Job Summary
Develop individualized educational programming for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder aligned with IEPs and Massachusetts curriculum frameworks. Create a structured, therapeutic learning environment while applying Applied Behavior Analysis principles to support academic, communication, behavioral, and adaptive skill development. Collect and analyze student data to monitor progress, adjust interventions, and report on goals to administrators and families. Supervise paraprofessional staff, collaborate with related service providers, and implement de-escalation procedures for challenging behaviors. Participate in team meetings to propose new accommodations and maintain two-way communication with parents regarding student progress.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education/Special Education
- MA Licensure-PreK-8 Moderate Special Needs or Severe Special Needs
- SEI endorsement
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Education/Special Education or related field
- 3 years experience working with students with Autism or developmental disabilities
- Experience in applying the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
