UPMC Transplant Nephrologist Opportunity within the Kidney Transplant Program

Transplant Nephrologist opportunity in the Kidney Transplant Program at UPMC, affiliated with the Starzl Transplantation Institute. Responsibilities include overseeing pre- and post-transplant care for kidney transplant candidates/recipients and living donors (inpatient and outpatient), developing clinical protocols, coordinating multidisciplinary care within STI, participating in QAPI initiatives per CMS and UNOS policies, collaborating with Transplant Administration to optimize clinical workflows, and providing teaching and mentorship for residents, fellows, and transplant-related research. Opportunity for involvement in clinical and basic science research with renowned faculty in a collegial environment. Eligible candidates should be ABIM-board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology, licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, and demonstrate commitment to teaching and comprehensive patient care.
