Job Summary
Transplant Nephrologist responsibilities include oversight and execution of medical care for kidney transplant candidates/recipients and living donors (inpatient and outpatient), development of clinical protocols for pre- and post-transplant management, monitoring outcomes; coordination of multidisciplinary care within the Starzl Transplantation Institute; active participation in QAPI initiatives per CMS and UNOS; collaboration with Transplant Administration to streamline clinical workflows; ample opportunities for teaching and curriculum development for residents and fellows; strong mentorship for transplant-related research with renowned faculty; collegial atmosphere.
Required Qualifications
- ABIM board certified in Internal Medicine
- ABIM board certified in Nephrology
- Licensed to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Commitment to teaching and patient care
- Exceptional clinical knowledge and clinical acumen
