Job Summary
Solo General Surgeon at UPMC Kane, a 14-bed critical access hospital in Kane, PA. Independent role with full hospital and administrative support. Busy, rewarding schedule with growth opportunities—perform a wide range of general surgery cases including laparoscopies, lapar choles, hernia repairs, endoscopies, colonoscopies, enterectomies, and more; approximately 80-100 procedures per month; no OB responsibilities. Operate within a streamlined care model with admissions handled locally and EPIC EMR. Community-based position with relocation assistance and sign-on incentives; board-eligible or board-certified in General Surgery; PA medical license and DEA certification required.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited General Surgery Residency Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in General Surgery
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License
- DEA certification
