Job Summary
General Surgeon sought for solo practice at a 14-bed critical access hospital in Kane, PA. Role emphasizes autonomy with full hospital and administrative support, performing a wide range of general surgery procedures including laparoscopies, laparoscopic cholecystectomies, hernia repairs, endoscopies, colonoscopies, and enterectomies, among others. No robotic program; emphasis on traditional, hands-on care and continuity of care. Opportunity to grow practice with a busy schedule (80-100 procedures/month) and regional referrals via EPIC EMR. Must have MD/DO, completed general surgery residency, ABMS eligibility/board certification, PA license eligibility, and DEA certification.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited General Surgery Residency Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in General Surgery
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
