Job Summary
Join UPMC Kane as a solo General Surgeon in a 14-bed critical access hospital setting with autonomy and full hospital/administrative support. Expect a busy schedule with 80-100 procedures per month across a broad range of general surgery cases (laparoscopies, cholecystectomies, hernia repairs, endoscopies, colonoscopies, enterectomies, and more), streamlined admissions, and regional clinic collaborations via EPIC EMR. Ideal for surgeons who value hands-on, continuity-of-care practice without a robotic program, and a community-based role with opportunities for growth, relocation support, CME days, sign-on, PSLF eligibility, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited General Surgery Residency Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in General Surgery
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
