Job Summary
Independent solo General Surgeon role at a 14-bed critical access hospital in Kane, PA. Perform a broad range of general surgery with laparoscopies, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, endoscopies, colonoscopies, enterectomies, and more, with no OB responsibilities. Flexible, hands-on practice supported by the hospital and EPIC EMR, enabling autonomy in patient care and ongoing practice growth (approx. 80-100 procedures/month). Competitive compensation with sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, CME days and stipend, PSLF eligibility, and comprehensive benefits. Requires MD/DO, residency in General Surgery, ABMS board eligibility or certification, PA license eligibility, and DEA certification.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited General Surgery Residency Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in General Surgery
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
