Job Summary
Solo General Surgeon at a 14-bed critical access hospital in Kane, PA. Autonomous practice with full hospital and administrative support; expected to grow procedures to around 80-100 per month with no OB responsibilities. Perform a broad range of general surgery cases including laparoscopies, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, endoscopies, colonoscopies, and enterectomies, with admissions handled directly at the facility. Work within an EPIC EMR environment and provide hands-on, traditional surgical care in a community-based setting. Requires MD/DO, board eligibility/certification in General Surgery, PA license eligibility, and DEA. Relocation assistance available; PSLF eligible; comprehensive and employer-paid benefits including malpractice coverage, CME days and stipend, and sign-on. No robotic program and emphasis on continuity of care.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited General Surgery Residency Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in General Surgery
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
