Job Summary
Solo General Surgeon needed at UPMC Kane, a 14-bed critical access hospital in Kane, PA. Independent role with autonomy and full hospital/administrative support. High-volume schedule with around 80-100 procedures per month, no OB responsibilities. Perform a wide range of general surgery cases including laparoscopies, cholecystectomies, hernia repairs, endoscopies, colonoscopies, and enterectomies. Streamlined admissions handled on-site; EPIC EMR; regional clinic support. Hands-on, traditional approach with continuity of care; no robotic program. Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited General Surgery Residency Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in General Surgery
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License
- DEA certification
