Solo General Surgeon position at UPMC Kane, a 14-bed critical access hospital in Kane, PA. Independent practice with full hospital and administrative support; perform a wide range of general surgery cases (including laparoscopies, cholecystectomies, hernia repairs, endoscopies, colonoscopies, and enterectomies) with no obstetrics responsibilities. No robotic program; emphasis on traditional, hands-on techniques and continuity of care. EPIC EMR; regional referrals from the UPMC Kane network; opportunities for growth of practice and community impact. Enhanced compensation package includes sign-on bonus, relocation benefit, CME days and stipend, PSLF eligibility, and employer-paid malpractice insurance. Requires MD/DO, successful completion of an accredited General Surgery Residency, ABMS board eligibility/certification, PA medical license, and DEA certification.
