Job Summary
General Surgeon role at a solo practice in UPMC Kane, Kane, PA. Independent role with full hospital and administrative support in a 14-bed critical access facility. Perform a broad range of general surgery cases including laparoscopies, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, endoscopies, colonoscopies, enterectomies, and more, with no OB responsibilities. Emphasis on hands-on, continuity of care and regional outreach using EPIC EMR. Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited General Surgery Residency Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in General Surgery
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
