Job Summary
General Surgeon needed for a solo-practice role at a 14-bed critical access hospital in Kane, PA. Independent practice with full hospital and administrative support; high-volume schedule (approximately 80-100 procedures/month) with a broad general surgery scope including laparoscopies, cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, endoscopies, colonoscopies, and enterectomies. No OB responsibilities; admissions coordinated through UPMC Kane; hands-on, traditional continuity of care in a community-based setting. Qualifications include MD/DO, completed General Surgery residency, ABMS board-eligible or-certified, PA license eligibility in PA, and DEA certification. Relocation assistance, sign-on, CME stipend, and PSLF eligibility are offered.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited General Surgery Residency Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in General Surgery
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
