Job Summary
General Surgeon needed for solo practice at UPMC Kane, a 14-bed critical access hospital in Kane, PA. Responsibilities include performing a broad range of general surgery cases (laparoscopies, cholecystectomies, hernia repairs, endoscopies, colonoscopies, enterectomies) with no OB, admissions handled at the facility, EPIC EMR use, and regional clinic support. Independent role with hospital and administrative support. Requires MD/DO, completed general surgery residency, ABMS board eligibility or certification, PA medical license, DEA, relocation and CME support, PSLF eligible, and employer-paid malpractice coverage. Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- General Surgery Residency Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in General Surgery
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
