Job Summary
Infectious Disease physician needed for hospital-based consultative practice at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. Provide inpatient/inpatient consultative services (4.5 days inpatient, 0.5 day outpatient) with 1:3 call, participate in telemedicine ID consults across UPMC Northern Pod hospitals, and contribute to antimicrobial stewardship. Requires MD/DO, Internal Medicine residency, Infectious Disease fellowship (or fellowship-trained), ABIM ID certification/eligibility, PA license eligibility, and DEA. Offers enhanced compensation with sign-on, CME stipend, relocation, PSLF eligibility, and comprehensive benefits; opportunity to work with Epic EMR and a multidisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Residency in Internal Medicine from an accredited program
- ID fellowship program completion or open to recent fellowship-trained physicians
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease
- PA medical license eligibility
- DEA certification
