Job Summary
Infectious Disease physician to join a hospital-based consultative service in Erie, PA, providing inpatient consults and outpatient care with telemedicine across the system, within a team model that includes two ID physicians and an Advanced Practice Provider. Work within an Epic EMR, participate in antimicrobial stewardship, and contribute to patient safety initiatives. The role offers enhanced compensation, sign-on, CME stipend, relocation assistance, PSLF eligibility, and a full benefits package. Board-certified/eligible in ID and Internal Medicine; eligible for Pennsylvania medical licensure and DEA certification. Immigrant status considered (J-1 Waiver and H-1B). Relocation support available.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program completion
- Accredited Infectious Disease Fellowship Program completion
- Open to recent fellowship-trained physicians
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
