Job Summary
Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Infectious Disease physician to join a hospital-based consultative practice in Erie, PA. Provide 4.5 days of inpatient infectious disease consultative services weekly with 0.5 day of outpatient care and a 1:3 call schedule. Telemedicine Infectious Disease consults across UPMC Northern Pod hospitals within a fully integrated Epic EMR environment. Play a key role in antimicrobial stewardship and integrated care alongside a team of two Infectious Disease physicians and an Advanced Practice Provider. Enhanced compensation package includes productivity incentives, sign-on bonus, CME stipend, relocation benefit, PSLF eligible, and comprehensive benefits. Immigration considered under J-1 Waiver and H-1B. Qualifications include MD/DO, completed ID fellowship, ABIM ABMS certification/eligibility, PA license eligibility, and DEA.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Internal Medicine Residency Program completion
- Infectious Disease Fellowship Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License
- DEA certification
