Job Summary
Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Infectious Disease physician sought for a hospital-based consultative practice at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. The role involves inpatient consultative services with a 4.5-day inpatient and 0.5-day outpatient schedule, participation in antimicrobial stewardship, telemedicine ID consults across UPMC Northern Pod hospitals, and work within an Epic EMR environment. The team includes two ID physicians and an Advanced Practice Provider. Eligible for J-1 Waiver and H-1B candidates; relocation benefits, sign-on bonus, CME stipend, PSLF eligibility, and malpractice coverage are provided.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program completion
- Accredited Infectious Disease Fellowship Program completion
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease
- Ability to obtain Pennsylvania Medical License
- DEA certification
