Job Summary
Infectious Disease physician sought for hospital-based consultative practice at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. Role emphasizes telemedicine ID consults across UPMC Northern Pod hospitals within an integrated Epic EMR, collaboration within an Antimicrobial Stewardship Program, and a team-based environment with two ID physicians and an Advanced Practice Provider. Responsibilities include 4.5 days of inpatient consults per week with 0.5 day of outpatient care and a 1:3 on-call schedule; opportunities for relocation assistance, sign-on, CME stipend, productivity incentives, PSLF eligibility, and comprehensive benefits. Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program completion
- Accredited Infectious Disease Fellowship Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
