Job Summary
Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Infectious Disease physician to join a hospital-based consultative practice at UPMC Hamot. Role includes telemedicine ID consults across UP Health System hospitals, inpatient and outpatient duties with a 4.5 inpatient days and 0.5 outpatient days per week, participation in an Antimicrobial Stewardship Program, and collaboration with an established ID service. Epic EMR integration, focus on patient safety, and an enhanced compensation package with productivity incentive, sign-on bonus, CME stipend, relocation benefit, PSLF-eligibility, and comprehensive benefits. Open to recent fellowship-trained physicians with a PA medical license path and DEA certification.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program completion
- Accredited Infectious Disease Fellowship Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
