Job Summary
Orthopaedic Surgeon sought to join Great Lakes Physician Practice within UPMC's network to provide high-quality general orthopaedic care in a Western New York community setting, with a preference for adult reconstruction. The role supports an established team including two practicing orthopaedic surgeons and seven advanced practice providers, with Robotic assistance and ongoing investments in OR modernization; Epic EMR; robust referral base; relocation assistance and sign-on bonus; PSLF eligible; J1 and H-1B visa candidates accepted. Responsibilities include full-spectrum general orthopaedic care within a collaborative, outpatient-to-inpatient care continuum at facilities in Jamestown and Dunkirk, NY (with surgeries at UPMC Chautauqua) and related GLPP sites, under an employed model with competitive compensation and incentives.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Fellowship training in adult reconstruction is a plus, though not a requirement
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted New York Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
