Job Summary
Orthopaedic Surgeon sought to join Great Lakes Physician Practice (GLPP), part of UPMC, to provide general orthopaedic care with a preference for adult reconstruction in a well-established Western New York community setting. The role involves collaboration with two experienced orthopaedic surgeons at UPMC Chautauqua, supported by a dedicated team of seven APPs across office, OR, and hospital settings, with ongoing modernization including robotic assistance and an upcoming OR renovation. The practice leverages a robust primary care referral network and an integrated Epic EMR, offering a comprehensive compensation package including a $50K sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, CME stipend, PSLF eligibility, and extensive benefits. Requires MD/DO, completed orthopaedic residency, ABOS eligibility/certification, NY license, and DEA certification.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Fellowship training in adult reconstruction is a plus, though not a requirement
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted New York Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
