Job Summary
Orthopaedic Surgeon sought for Great Lakes Physician Practice within the UPMC system in Western New York. General orthopaedic care with a preference for adult reconstruction in a collegial, established group. Join two experienced orthopaedic surgeons with robust APP support in office, OR, and hospital settings, supported by integrated Epic EMR, a strong primary-care referral network, and ongoing modernization including robotic assistance and upcoming OR renovations. Competitive compensation with incentives, relocation assistance, CME stipend, PSLF eligibility, student loan repayment, and comprehensive benefits. Must hold MD/DO and NY medical licensure eligibility; board eligibility/certification in Orthopaedic Surgery; DEA certification. Sign-on bonus of $50,000 and additional enhanced compensation features are included. Relocation benefits available; PSLF eligible; a non-profit health system employment model. Location: Jamestown and Dunkirk, NY; Grand Lakes Physician Practice (GLPP) affiliated with UPMC Chautauqua.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Fellowship training in adult reconstruction is a plus, though not a requirement
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted New York Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
