Job Summary
Orthopaedic Surgeon sought to join Great Lakes Physician Practice within the UPMC system for general orthopaedic care with a preference for adult reconstruction. Join an established team of two experienced orthopaedic surgeons, supported by seven APPs, with Robotic assistance planned and ongoing OR renovations. The role offers a comprehensive compensation package, relocation assistance, sign-on bonus, CME stipend, student loan repayment programs, PSLF eligibility, and a robust benefits program within a non-profit health system. Eligible candidates must hold MD/DO, complete an orthopaedic surgery residency, be Board eligible or certified in Orthopaedic Surgery, and secure or obtain necessary NY licensure and DEA certification. This position emphasizes high-quality care in a community-focused Western New York setting, with affiliation to UPMC and access to Epic EMR and extensive resources across the network.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Fellowship training in adult reconstruction is a plus, though not a requirement
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted New York Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
