Job Summary
General Orthopaedic Surgeon sought to join an established Western New York practice within UPMC’s GLPP, focusing on high-quality general orthopaedic care with a preference for adult reconstruction. Practice supports a collaborative environment with two experienced orthopaedic surgeons and a dedicated team of seven APPs across office, OR, and hospital settings. Robotic assistance and ongoing OR modernization, along with radiology upgrades, underscore a commitment to advanced surgical care. Eligible candidates can expect a comprehensive compensation package with a $50K sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, PSLF eligibility, and robust benefits (insurance, disability, life, retirement, and tuition assistance). Typical duties include practicing general orthopaedics in a community-focused setting with access to a large referral network and integrated Epic EMR.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Fellowship training in adult reconstruction is a plus (not required)
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted New York Medical License and necessary credentials
- DEA certification
