Job Summary
Orthopaedic Surgeon needed to join GLPP/UPMC in Western New York. General orthopaedic care with a preference for adult reconstruction; collaborate with two experienced surgeons at UPMC Chautauqua in a Center of Excellence setting. Supported by seven APPs across office, OR, and hospital settings; Robotic-assisted surgery with ongoing OR renovations and radiology upgrades. Eligible candidates include MDs/DOs with ABOS certification/eligibility and NY medical license eligibility; DEA certification required. Attractive enhanced compensation package including a $50,000 sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, CME stipend, student loan repayment, PSLF eligibility, and employer-paid malpractice insurance. PSLF eligible; comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, disability, life), 403(b) with employer match, tuition assistance, and parental leave. Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Fellowship training in adult reconstruction is a plus
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted New York Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
