Job Summary
Join UPMC’s Great Lakes Physician Practice as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in Western New York. Work with two experienced surgeons at UPMC Chautauqua to provide high-quality general orthopaedic care with a preference for adult reconstruction. Benefit from a dedicated team of seven APPs across office, OR, and hospital settings, integrated Epic EMR, robotic assistance with planned OR renovations and radiology upgrades, a strong primary care referral network, and a comprehensive compensation package including a $50,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, PSLF eligibility, CME, and loan repayment options. The role emphasizes collaboration within an integrated system, ongoing surgical advancement, and a supportive work environment. Qualifications include MD/DO, completed Orthopaedic Surgery Residency, board eligibility/certification, NY license eligibility, and DEA certification. Preference given to those with fellowship experience in adult reconstruction.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Fellowship training in adult reconstruction is a plus, though not a requirement
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted New York Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
