Job Summary
Recruiting two full-time urologists to join UPMC Altoona. Practice includes general urology, urologic oncology, female urology, robotic surgery; MRI fusion biopsy, transperineal prostate biopsy, and office-based urodynamics. Six weeknights per month on call (no weekend call). Hospitalist service handles admissions. Physicians are part of the University of Pittsburgh Physicians Department of Urology. Relocation reimbursement, sign-on bonus, CME allowance, PTO, malpractice insurance, employer-matched retirement, and comprehensive health/dental/vision coverage are included. Altoona is a 400-bed regional health system with a Da Vinci XI robotic system and a dedicated ambulatory surgery center, serving six counties in west central Pennsylvania.
