Job Summary
Assembles mattresses using established work instructions and pneumatic tools (e.g., c-ring hog-ring guns, staple guns, hot glue guns) to produce mattress units (Hot Melt Bond, Bonnells, foam-encased and foam product types) in the specified order; applies upholstered layers as per specifications; transfers finished units to the next process step; achieves production targets per training schedule; inspects components and finished units for flaws or defects; maintains safety and cleanliness at the workstation; performs other duties as assigned; requires being able to stand/walk for long periods, lift up to 120 pounds (team lifting often), and communicate in English; Spanish bilingual is desired.
Required Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience with pneumatic tools and/or in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Must stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours per day or longer in overtime situations as required
- Must be able to lift heavy product or raw materials up to 120 pounds multiple times per hour
- Ability to read, write and speak fluent English
- Bilingual Spanish, desired
