Job Summary
Repair, recover, and restore furniture while maintaining engineering for HVAC, ductwork, plumbing, boilers, and fire protection. Review work orders to determine priorities, install machines and tools, and inspect kitchen equipment for conformance with operational standards. Perform repairs on refrigerators, adjust HVAC systems, and fix plumbing fixtures, line vents, and drains. Execute minor electrical repairs on outlets and light fixtures, fabricate mechanical devices, and install tile, marble, and carpet materials. Conduct preventive maintenance on scheduled equipment, assist with snow removal, and respond to maintenance calls with expert service. Adhere to all safety rules, departmental quality standards, and regulatory policies while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- minimum four (4) years of facilities maintenance experience in hospitality or related field
- Associate degree in related field
- three (3) years of related experience
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous supervisory experience
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- fluent and literate in English
