Job Summary
Safely operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment in Lamination, Saturation, or Technical Logistics areas. Perform machine startups, shutdowns, setups, and product changeovers while conducting quality checks and troubleshooting basic equipment issues. Stage and move raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products, ensuring correct supply per production schedule. Complete production, quality, and material documentation, maintaining clean work areas per 5S standards. Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Logistics during shift handovers, and stop work immediately when unsafe conditions arise. Follow all safety standards, PPE requirements, and Lockout/Tagout guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Basic mechanical, computer, and mathematical skills
- Ability to read and follow production orders, specifications, and work instructions
- Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Basic critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment or production issues while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards
- Ability to effectively and safely use power tools
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work in elevated areas as required
- Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment, around machinery, mobile equipment, noise, dust, and varying temperatures
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time up to 12 hours
- Ability to read computer screens or other electronic devices
- Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment
- Must be available for 12-hour rotating shift schedule (2-2-3 pattern)
- Must be available for 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (days) shifts
- Must be available for 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (nights) shifts
- Must be able to maintain reliable attendance and arrive on time for all scheduled shifts
