Job Summary
Install, wire, and troubleshoot all electrical components including harnesses, cables, relays, and circuits for police, fire, and public safety vehicles. Read and interpret installation instructions, drawings, and diagrams to assemble parts and use hand, power, and air tools to fabricate parts or modify brackets for proper fit. Perform quality inspections using the Vehicle Delivery Checklist and maintain a clean working area with minor inventory control. Disassemble and reassemble diverse vehicles while testing products to ensure specifications are met. This role requires standing, bending, lifting, and stooping to perform daily tasks, with an expectation of a clean driving history and willingness to learn.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License – with clean driving history
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to read and follow directions
- Ability to safely use power tools
- Experience and ability to accurately use measurement tools, ie ruler, tape measure
- EVT certified a plus
