Job Summary
Conduct daily behavioral health nursing care for adult patients with conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and depression on a 17-bed inpatient unit. Engage with patients across all age groups, assisting them in navigating intricate emotional and physical challenges while utilizing therapeutic communication to set boundaries and foster trust. Maintain a calm and compassionate presence, demonstrating empathy and flexibility to address multifaceted patient needs within a multidisciplinary team environment. Requires a Licensed Registered Nurse in Michigan with experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella vaccination or lab confirmed immunity
- Flu vaccine during flu season in the year of hire and annually thereafter, or approved medical or religious exemption
