Job Summary
Digs, spreads, and levels dirt and gravel using pick and shovel; lifts, carries, and holds materials weighing 50 to 100 pounds. Mixes, pours, and spreads concrete, asphalt, gravel, and other materials using handtools. Cleans tools, equipment, materials, and work areas. Joins, wraps, and seals sections of pipe. Performs routine tasks such as removing forms from set concrete, filling expansion joints with asphalt, and placing culvert sections in trench. Requires high school diploma or GED with on-the-job training.
