Job Summary
Conduct hands-on clinical services under the direction of Licensed Therapists for a two-semester period, committing to a minimum of 20 hours per week between Monday through Friday from 8am to 7pm. Complete all required background screenings, including drug screening, local/level II Federal checks, MVR, and DCF fingerprinting, with costs covered by Suncoast Center. Submit current transcripts, signed college agreements, and internship guidelines to maintain compliance with Florida Statute 409.91256 and the TEACH program. Operate within a fragrance-free, drug-free workplace environment while participating in monthly social events and professional development trainings.
Required Qualifications
- Masters level social services clinical student
- Minimum of 20 hours per week required over 3-5 days per week
- Hours between 8am to 7pm Monday through Thursday
- Hours between 8am to 5pm on Fridays
- Committing for a 1 year is required commitment
- All background screenings
- Drug screening within 24 hours of acceptance
- Local/level II Federal background check
- MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
- Employment verifications
- Copy of current transcripts with acceptable GPA level
- Signed agreement with college
- Intern program guidelines from college for student
- Copy of all signed documents between school/student and Suncoast Center
- Schedule for onsite internship days/hours meeting 20 hours per week for the year
