Unmanned Systems (UxS) Technician
On-siteTampa, Florida, United States
Job Summary
Develop, modify, and maintain detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and mechanical designs using CAD software to translate engineering concepts into manufacturable prototypes. Fabricate, assemble, integrate, and test unmanned systems components, including electrical assemblies, propulsion systems, and flight control environments like BetaFlight and ArduPilot. Operate various 3D printing technologies such as FDM, SLS, and SLA while troubleshooting additive manufacturing issues and servicing equipment. Troubleshoot system failures using diagnostic tools like multimeters and oscilloscopes, then document findings and maintain configuration control. Work independently in a shop environment to support rapid prototyping and engineering development activities, incorporating lessons learned back into subsequent builds. Maintain accurate technical documentation and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet fabrication and integration requirements.
